Farm Animals

Nestled between the Jim Graham and Dorton Arena, the Agri-Plaza is your one-stop destination for animals of all sizes. See baby chicks hatch on the spot, learn how to manage your own backyard chicken brood, milk a cow, learn techniques for milking a goat, and check out our menagerie of chickens, cows, longhorns, rabbits, sheep and alpacas.

Backyard Poultry Production classes will be taught in the Agri-Plaza daily, with veterinarians on site all day to answer your questions.

Stop by the Kidz Corral, located between the Jim Graham Building and Expo Center, to take a break and color on our Giant Got to Be NC Festival Coloring Wall, play in the corn table and find your way through our NEW pedal tractor course.

You'll find Lauryn Zepeda and Gringo the trick pony, showing off their skills & clicker training down on the midway near Gate 9.

Pig Patch Birthing Center

Head over to the midway near the antique tractors to check out our newest attraction: The Pig Patch Birthing Center. We'll be expecting a new litter of piglets each day of the Festival!

It's all about the thrill of the race at the Hogway Speedway! Cheer on your favorite swine, and see who will win the coveted cheese doodle. The checkered flag will drop in the tractor area of the midway, near the Martin Building.
