The N.C. State Fairgrounds hosts countless special events during the year. In addition to the Got to Be NC Festival, the fairgrounds is hosting the following events the weekend of May 19-21: Chatlee Boat Show and Sale, Adidas Clearance Sale, Island Spring Festival, Independent Labrador Specialty Dog Show, Wake County 4-H Horse Show, and North Central District 4-H Horse Show.

The Raleigh Flea Market at the Historic State Fairgrounds has been a Triangle tradition since 1971. This fun, family-friendly atmosphere draws tens of thousands of shoppers every weekend. The flea market showcases more than 600 vendors, offering everything from antiques and collectibles to handicrafts, furniture, homemade goodies, clothing, jewelry, and…well, the list just goes on and on!
